1996 Calder Conservation Award: C. Thomas Wyche


The 1996 Calder Conservation Award has been given to C. Thomas Wyche for protecting 40,000 acres of mountains, waterfalls and wildlife habitat in northwestern South Carolina. The eigth annual award, presented by The Conservation Fund and Union Camp Corporation, recognizes individuals who protect U.S wildlife habitat through a partnership of business and conservation.

The award includes a $10,000 grant from Union Camp.
